Marist Science Curriculum Provides Water Well Testing for Community
Eugene, Oregon – Marist Catholic High School’s Water Well Screening Program offers free water testing for rural Lane County residents who draw their drinking water from private wells. This month's testing event is scheduled for April 21, 2016, between 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., Marist students will have a station set up in front of the main gym to receive water samples and perform tests. The Marist Water Well Program provides students with an opportunity for hands-on practical application of science, a better understanding of careers available in science, and will help increase an understanding of local ground water issues, while serving others in the community.
